Emily Mayfield left heartbroken over Hurricane Helene's devastation in Tampa, says 'It's unfathomable'

Baker Mayfield's wife Emily was devastated after Hurricane Helene's impact on Tampa. It has destroyed the city as multiple people are evacuating their homes and are in search of safety.

 

What did Emily share on her Instagram?

 

The people of the city of Tampa are affected the most by the situation there and according to AP, Hurricane Helene has already killed 44 people and the list is growing.

 

The quarterback for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baker Mayfield and his family also evacuated their home as Emily shared the news with her fans with an emotional update. The post also highlighted the after-effects it had on others.

 

"I do not have words to accurately describe my heartbreak for everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. You see this stuff on TV - but until you live through it, you can't fully grasp the terror associated with the unknowns. Baker, Koko, Fergus, and I evacuated yesterday and are safe," Emily said.

Emily even said that her community got 'pummeled' and she can't even imagine how bad it was up North. "It's unfathomable. I'm so thankful to God for protecting us - and our home- and I'm praying nonstop for everyone dealing with the aftermath of the storm, the surge, the damage, the loss," Emily added.

 

Emily even asked people to reach out and let them know if they can 'tangibly help'.

 

Emily Mayfield offered her help to the people hit by Nebraska's tornado

 

Emily Mayfield is an individual who doesn't shy away from sharing her opinion on her social media. In the hard times, she is the first person to reach out quickly and offer her help.

 

This year in May, Emily sent her prayers to everybody who was hit by a tornado in her hometown Nebraska.

 

"My hometown and surrounding areas were hit HARD yesterday by a slew of tornados. Please please keep everyone in your prayers. And local NE people, please send relief effort options so we can help from afar," Emily concluded.

 

Emily who is now living in Tampa, Florida was born in Nebraska in 1991. After completing her initial studies she moved to Los Angeles after college.
