As the college football season heats up, the latest AP (Associated Press Poll) Top 25 rankings showcase a mix of expected results and few upsets. few upsets already shaping the landscape, here’s how the rankings after Week 2.

1. Georgia 

 Georgia remains at No. 1 after a commanding 45-point victory over Tennessee Tech. Their dominant performance solidifies their top spot.

2. Ohio 

Ohio also retains the second spot as they defeated Western Michigan 56-0.

3. Texas 
Texas is still in third place. They defeated Michigan 31-11, solidifying their status as one of the three best teams in the sport.

4. Tennese

Tennese is in fourth place after defeating NC State 51-`10. They were previously in 14th place.
5. Ole Miss
The Ole miss-defeated Middle Tennessee by 52-3 to take the 5th position.

6. USC 
The USC is in 6th position and defeated Utah State 48-0.

7. Penn State 
Penn State defeated Bowling Green 34-27 ending up on 7th position.

8. Alabama 
Alabama defeated South Florida 42-16  taking a drip from 5th position to 8th.

9. Oregon
Oregon defeated Boise State 37-34 starring Dillon Gabriel and Evan Stewart.

10. Miami Fla
Miami defeated Florida A&M 56-9 ending up as a ACC title Contender.

What is the Associated Press Poll?

The Associated Press poll (AP poll) provides weekly rankings of the top 25 NCAA teams in one of three Division I college sports: football, men's basketball, and women's basketball. The rankings are compiled by polling 62 sportswriters and broadcasters from across the nation. Each voter provides their own ranking of the top 25 teams, and the individual rankings are then combined to produce the national ranking by giving a team 25 points for a first place vote,
