What did Travis Kelce say about Patrick Mahomes?

Patrick Mahomes is known to be an important figure among the Chiefs' team and has turned things around with his talent in the ongoing season as well. Along with Travis Kelce, Mahomes has earned both the respect and admiration of his teammate. By the way, Kelce is among his greatest admirers.

While talking to Men's Journal in July 2021, Kelce praised the QB and called him the greatest ever.

He's number one in my book, says Kelce. You can't tell me any different. I see it on a daily basis.

Kelce is not taking sides of Mahomes because they are teammates, but has valid reasons to believe in Mahomes. He has a knack of winning games from impossible situations. Mahomes has a high level of game awareness as well. Mahomes and Kelce are the best dual-threat QBs in the league. 

Together they are a formidable pair and have over 8,900 yards from more than 700 receptions at an impressive 75% completion rate for more than 60 touchdowns. Together, they have won three Super Bowl titles and five AFC Championship games. The record for the most productive QB-TE duo in postseason history also goes to Kelce and Mahomes.

Still, after many years, Kelce has the same belief in Mahomes it might have grown stronger with time. While talking to ESPN's Chris Berman last month, Kelce cleared the air that Mahomes is the best QB in history. 

He's the greatest to ever do it, and you can't change my mind otherwise.

Kelce and Mahomes are also close off the field as the former feels Mahomes is a great person. Mahomes also shares the same sentiment for his teammate. In a press conference before their clash against the Eagles, Mahomes mentioned Kelce as a great player and leader.
