The Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce shares heartfelt praise for her girlfriend and global megastar, Taylor Swift after she won a Grammy in 2024 ahead of his Super Bowl LVIII win against the San Francisco 49ers. Just like last year, Kelce couldn't make it to this year's event as well where Swift won the artist with most Grammy wins for Album of the Year.
What did Travis Kelce say about Taylor Swift?
Taylor Swift won the award for 'Midnights' marking her fourth trophy in the category. She last won this award for 'Fearless' in 2010, '1989' in 2016 and 'Folklore' in 2021.
After winning the award, Kelce had nothing but praise for Swift.
She's unbelievable, Kelce said in Feb. 2024. She's rewriting the history books herself. I told her I'll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware, too.
Taylor Swift was nominated in six categories but only took home two awards for the Album of the Year and the Best Pop Vocal Album. This year too, Swift is nominated for six categories, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Fortnight' with Post Malone and Album of the Year and Best Post Vocal Album for 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
Both Kelce and Swift can make history this year as Swift can win back-to-back Album of the Year award and Kelce could win his second Vince Lombardi trophy since being in a relationship with Swift and also his third consecutive Super Bowl title. No team has ever won three Super Bowls on the trot and the Chiefs are just one win away from that.
Will Travis Kelce attend 67th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony?
Just like last season, Travis Kelce won't be able to attend this year's ceremony due to his commitment with Kansas City Chiefs who are due to play Philadelphia Eagles in the upcoming Super Bowl 59. The match is set to be played on February 9 in New Orleans.
It is going to be a rematch from two seasons ago as Kelce would miss the ceremony due to travel and practice commitments.
