Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre will appear alongside former President Trump at a rally in Wisconsin just days before Election Day. The Trump campaign announced Favre as a guest speaker for Trump's visit to Green Bay on Wednesday, which will be held at the Resch Center.

Favre, a legendary figure with the Green Bay Packers, has been a strong supporter of Trump, endorsing him during the 2020 election against Joe Biden. Last year, he expressed that the United States was in a "better place" under Trump's presidency.

"I think our country was in better shape with him. I think Donald was a non-political president, and I liked that about him. Was he perfect? Absolutely not. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. I'm flawed just like the rest of 'em. We're all flawed. But I really felt like he had our country in a better place and really cared about our people in our country,"  he stated on the "Fearless" podcast with Jason Whitlock. "

Favre emphasized that Trump cared about all Americans, regardless of race. "Black, White, Hispanic, Asian — you name it. I think if you were an American citizen, he cared about you, first and foremost. I don't know if our current president has the same mentality."

In 2020, Favre endorsed Trump due to his views on freedom of speech, gun rights, and support for law enforcement and the military, particularly after the unrest following George Floyd's death.

"My Vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech and religion, the second amendment, hard-working tax-paying citizens, police and military. In this election, we have freedom of choice, which all should respect. For me and these principles, my vote is for [Donald Trump]," Favre shared on X at that time.

During his tenure with the Packers, Favre transformed the franchise into a powerhouse. He won Super Bowl XXXI in 1997 and was named Super Bowl MVP. Notably, he achieved three consecutive NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards from 1995 to 1997, a feat unmatched in league history. Favre holds several records, including:

Favre stats
Most consecutive games started: 297
Career passing yards: 71,838
Career touchdown passes: 508
Favre's leadership helped the Packers reach two Super Bowls and multiple playoff appearances. His "Iron Man" streak of consecutive starts remains one of his most celebrated achievements.

New York Jets (2008)
In 2008, after a highly publicized retirement saga, Favre was traded to the New York Jets. He had a strong start but struggled towards the end of the season, leading to a disappointing finish as the Jets missed the playoffs.

Minnesota Vikings (2009-2010)
Favre signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2009, where he had one of his best seasons statistically, throwing for 4,202 yards and leading the team to the NFC Championship Game. However, his performance declined in 2010 due to injuries, and he retired for good after that season.
