After drawing significant public attention throughout the NFL season and especially during Super Bowl LIX, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift faced some backlash over what many perceived as “overexposure.” In response, the couple decided to retreat from the limelight, embarking on a quiet vacation overseas shortly after the Super Bowl.
Kelce has confirmed amidst all the speculation that he is still in the NFL; he is not retiring yet and is back to make his 13th season with the Chiefs for 2025. But in all the time they can, the couple would enjoy other times away from the camera during the offseason to be together.
Relationship Strengthens Away From the public eye
The couple is keeping a low profile as far as public appearances go, but behind the scenes, they have not been separated. According to People, the couple has been focusing on each other while keeping a low profile.
"They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it," a source told People. "They have been making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them."
"They are very serious and in sync," the insider added that Kelce and Swift are said to be dear friends, in emphasis on priorities in which both share a similar value. "At this time, very much about private time outside the lights," said the source.
Plans to Settle Down in Kansas City
The couple is said to be looking into possibly buying a home together in Kansas City. This would allow them to spend more time together during the NFL season since Page Six even says that Swift plans to attend as many of Kelce's games as possible next season.
New Business Venture with Patrick Mahomes
Kelce is heading not just for football and love but venturing into the business. Tuesday saw the opening details of yet another joint venture between the Chiefs' star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kelce-an upcoming restaurant in Kansas City. Dubbed 1587 Prime, this establishment is expected to open its gates during the summer and will certainly shine in booming Kelce's off-field ventures.
