Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost another player in the same match in the form of Chris Godwin

The star wide receiver for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mike Evans suffered a hamstring injury against their loss to Baltimore Ravens. Evans is a key part of the Buccaneer's offence and as soon as he went down, fans started wondering whether he is okay and how much time will he be out for.

What did JC Allen report on this matter?

The Buccaneers reporter JC Allen reported that he'd be sidelined until Buccaneers Week 11 bye.

"Per Sources, #Bucs WR Mike Evans will be sidelined with his hamstring injury until after the team’s Week 11 bye. Anything sooner than a Week 12 return against the Giants is considered unlikely."

It was in the second quarter when Baker Mayfield attempted a deep pass for Evans. But the pass was never completed and Evans had to suffer a hamstring injury after being tackled by Brandon Stephens, who also sustained injuries after the play ended.

Evans was only able to manage one reception on three targets but the pass he caught was enough to register a 25-yard touchdown. With this catch, he also reached 100 touchdowns in his career.

Despite losing the game, Buccaneers lost two important players Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. The Buccaneers are tied with the Falcons for the top spot in the NFC South standings (4-3) after Week 7.

'Two of the guys that are...' Baker Mayfield on Mike Evans and Chris Godwin's injury against the Ravens

Baker Mayfield reacted to the injuries sustained by his teammates and even mentioned the importance of both players.

"Two of the guys that are [the] huge heartbeat of this team. ... [We're going to be thinking about Chris and Mike for a while here," Mayfield said in his postgame conference," Mayfield said.

The Buccaneers have options such as Jalen McMillan, Sterling Shepard and Trey Palmer who can fit in for Godwin and Evans. The Buccaneers will have to balance out the situation till both Godwin and Evans are back.
