Jasprit Bumrah unleashed a wild celebration after sending Ben Duckett's off-stump flying at least 15 meters with an outstanding delivery.

The main reason behind Bumrah's celebration was the combined decision of captain Rohit Sharma and KS Bharat to not opt for DRS.

Team India superstar pacer Jasprit Bumrah was thrilled to bits after he dismissed England's opener Ben Duckett during the second session of Day 3 of the first Test in Hyderabad on January 27. Bumrah unleashed a wild celebration after sending Duckett's off-stump flying at least 15 meters with an outstanding delivery. The main reason behind the frustration-filled celebration was the combined decision of captain Rohit Sharma and wicket-keeper KS Bharat to not opt for DRS in the bowler's previous over, which would have accounted for Duckett's wicket.

The entire incident transpired in the last ball of the 17th over bowled by Bumrah when the India pacer trapped Duckett right in front of the stumps with a booming in-swinger. The Indian players burst in what appeared as a half-hearted appeal before Rohit ran towards Bharat for a chat on whether to opt for a DRS or not. The Indian skipper decided to not review the on-field decision. The replay showed that the ball would have crashed into the Duckett's leg stump.

Bumrah was visibly frustrated as he flung his hands in the air before holding his head with disappointment.

Bumrah turned up the heat with the ball starting to reverse in the next over after dismissing Duckett, the Indian pacer trapped England's best batter Joe Root right in front of the stumps to bag his second wicket of the innings. Root departed after scoring just two runs off six balls.

At the time of Root's dismissal, England's score of 117/3, and the Three Lions trailed India by 73 runs.

Earlier, India posted a formidable total in response to England's first innings score of 246. The Indian team racked up 436 runs, showcasing their batting prowess on a challenging track. Ravindra Jadeja steered the team out of a tight spot and scored a resilient 87 runs off 180 deliveries, which included successfully overturning two LBW decisions using DRS, played a crucial role in giving India a significant lead of 190 runs.
