Earlier, in collaboration with the International Cricket Council (ICC), the BCCI initiated the World Cup ticket sales' primary phase between August and September. However, to meet the soaring demand and excitement for marquee India matches, additional tickets have been systematically made available leading up to these significant encounters.

Highlighting the immense anticipation, BCCI recently revealed another batch of ticket sales for what is shaping up to be an unforgettable India vs Pakistan World Cup face-off. Boasting a capacity of 1,30,000, the Narendra Modi Stadium is expected to witness a sea of enthusiastic Indian supporters, all rallying behind their team against their fiercest rivals.

Further elevating the pre-match atmosphere, while there was no opening ceremony for the World Cup on October 5, fans can anticipate a spectacular musical extravaganza right before the India-Pakistan game kicks off. Sources hint that leading Bollywood celebrities will grace this event, turning it into a grand prelude to one of the most-watched league matches of the World Cup hosted in India.

Adding another layer of glamour to the proceedings, golden ticket holders will grace the Narendra Modi Stadium during this iconic match. Renowned personalities, including Sachin Tendulkar, Rajinikanth, and Amitabh Bachchan, have been bestowed with these golden tickets by the BCCI ahead of the tournament's commencement.

The Indian team launched their World Cup 2023 journey with a commendable 6-wicket triumph over the Australian side in Chennai, limiting the five-time World Cup winners to a score of 199. Conversely, Pakistan, riding high on confidence after registering the most significant successful chase in World Cup annals against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, are geared up for this electrifying showdown on Saturday.
