Ahead of the high pressure game of India and Pakistan tonight, veteran Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh has said that Pakistan don’t have a bowling attack that can test the strong Indian batting lineup. On India Today’s show ‘Battle of Champions’, the spinner said that Pakistan don’t have the bowlers who can bowl seam and swing on United Arab Emirates (UAE) pitches.

“I don’t want to say Pakistan bowlers have the advantage. They don’t have the fast bowlers who can bowl seam and swing in these conditions. They have the bowlers who can bowl at 150kmph and every team has those kinds of bowlers but pace doesn’t matter these days,” Harbhajan said.

“The matches will be played on the middle pitches rather than side pitches which were used during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Obviously, conditions will become better for batting and Pakistan don’t have experienced bowlers to tackle the situation,” the off-spinner added.

However, he thinks that no one should be tagged as ‘favourites’ in T20 format as it is very unpredictable and anyone can beat the other on their day.

“This is the format where any team can beat anyone. It is possible that they (Pakistan) will come and play really good cricket and take a good start. If they do so, the momentum will shift in their favour,” the41-year-old concluded.

During the show, Harbhajan also predicted India’s playing-11 for the opening encounter against Pakistan tonight.

Harbhajan’s Playing 11 for India: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli (c), Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy
