The final of the five-match Test series between India and England will finally culminate when the two sides take the field at Edgbaston. Ahead of the game, India suffered a major setback after their captain Rohit Sharma was kept out of the team after testing positive for Covid-19. In his absence, Jasprit Bumrah will take his place and hope to help maintain their 2-1 series lead heading into the final match of the series.

Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, India will take on the hosts in the first of their three ODIs, having won the T20I series 2-1. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the match is going on that the time of writing, with Harleen Deol given a callback to the side for the first time since 2019.

In this practice match, the mettle of India's stand-in captain Hardik Pandya will be on display yet again when the T20 side take on Derbyshire in a practice game.
