On July 1, 2022, India will be achieving a very unique feat. On this day, not one but three teams will be playing different formats of the game — Test, ODI and T20s!. 

 

In case you are wondering who will this happen, here is how: The Men's core team will be taking the field for India's rescheduled 5th Test against England. Meanwhile, the women's team will play their first ODI match of their three-match series. The third Indian team that will be in action will be the T20 team, who play Derbyshire in a tour game. 

 

Test cricket to decide series winner!

The final of the five-match Test series between India and England will finally culminate when the two sides take the field at Edgbaston. Ahead of the game, India suffered a major setback after their captain Rohit Sharma was kept out of the team after testing positive for Covid-19. In his absence, Jasprit Bumrah will take his place and hope to help maintain their 2-1 series lead heading into the final match of the series.

 

Indian women face Sri Lankan challenge

Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, India will take on the hosts in the first of their three ODIs, having won the T20I series 2-1. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the match is going on that the time of writing, with Harleen Deol given a callback to the side for the first time since 2019. 

 

The T20 battle in Derby!

In this practice match, the mettle of India's stand-in captain Hardik Pandya will be on display yet again when the T20 side take on Derbyshire in a practice game. India's T20 side will play the match against Derbyshire at the Derby County Ground, having completed a series whitewash against Ireland at the end of June 2022.
