Rohit Sharma, India white-ball captain, addressed the Under-19 young guns at the National Cricket Academy on Friday. Under-19 team is currently at the NCA in Bengaluru for the preparatory camp ahead of their Asian Cup which is slated to kick off on December 23. The white ball wizard Rohit is undergoing injury rehabilitation alongside Ravindra Jadeja at the NCA. They both were seen with India Under-19 captain Yash Dhull in his social media posts.

The BCCI also tweeted pictures of Rohit's session with the squad. Rohit himself played at Under-19 level back in 2006.

"Team India white-ball captain @ImRo45 made most of his rehab time as he addressed India’s U19 team during their preparatory camp at the NCA in Bengaluru," wrote BCCI.

Surely, the Indian colts would have enjoyed the experience from a player who has so many accolades to his name and is the only batsman in the ODI format to score double centuries on three different occasions.
Rohit has always been a team man and is known for exhorting and guiding players by sharing a thing or two about the game.

Rohit was to travel to South Africa as vice-captain of the Test team for the series starting on December 26 but was ruled out of the squad due to a hamstring injury. The expected recovery time is between three to four weeks. Sans Rohit, India 'A' captain Priyank Panchal was named as his replacement for the Test series.

The senior opener Rohit, who took charge as T20I captain against New Zealand last month, is expected to be available to lead the team for the ODI leg of the South Africa tour, which is to take place in January.
Meanwhile, Jadeja has also been ruled out of the South Africa tour due to a knee injury which he sustained during the home New Zealand Test series last month.
