Rajasthan Royals (RR) continued their winning streak in the IPL 2024, climbing to the top of the points table with a convincing six-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium on April 1. This win marked their third consecutive victory in the ongoing season of the IPL.
Hardik Pandya's Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, remained at the bottom of the table after suffering their third straight loss against RR. While Sanju Samson-led RR top the chart with six points in three matches, MI are yet to open their winning account.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) finally secured their first win of the season on March 31, defeating Ruturaj Gaikwad's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 20 runs in Visakhapatnam. This victory propelled them from 10th to 7th position, while CSK slipped to second place.
