The stage is set for the mega auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. All the ten franchises are busy preparing their respective players' lists for the mega auction to be held in Bangalore on February 12 and February 13.

Meanwhile, it is time talk about two such players, who have the lowest base price in the 2022 IPL mega auction but based on their recent performance they are indeed going to attract big bids in the upcoming mega auction of IPL 2022. Teams are expected to bid for these two players, not in Lakhs but up to Crores.

Avesh Khan

The 25-year-old fast bowler had a terrific last IPL season for Delhi Capitals. Nowadays he is seen in the dressing room of team India. He has been able to become a popular figure in Indian cricket circuit with his amazing bowling skills. The extra bounce and swing of the bowler can often prove to be pretty lethal for the batsmen. Because of this crucial aspect of his bowing, in last season he picked up 26 wickets in 16 matches while playing in IPL for the Delhi-based team. Not only this, but he also became the highest wicket-taker for Delhi in last season’s IPL.

However, the Delhi Capitals franchise did not retain him and now his base price in the auction is going to be Rs 20 Lakh. And it is believed by many cricket experts and commentators that Avesh Khan will undoubtedly attract bigger bids this time in the upcoming mega auction for the 15th edition of IPL. Last time, the Madhya Pradesh-born pacer was signed by his former franchise for Rs 70 Lakh.

Shahrukh Khan

Another cricketer, apart from Avesh Khan, who can attract big bids this time, is Shahrukh Khan. In the last season of IPL, Punjab Kings had signed the Tamil Nadu-born cricketer by paying a big amount of Rs 5.25 crores. Although the franchise did not retain him this time and now the base price of Shahrukh Khan has become Rs 20 lakhs. Shahrukh recently won the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy, in 2021, by hitting a dramatic six off the last ball for his home team Tamil Nadu. The 26-year-old player’s recent form is also superb. Shahrukh had scored 153 runs in 10 matches in IPL last season.
