Chennai Super Kings (CSK) young speedster Simarjeet Singh lavished praise on their former captain MS Dhoni. Simarjeet who made his IPL debut in 2022 for CSK reckoned that he is not anyone to judge a player like Dhoni. CSK is one of the most successful IPL franchises they clinched the joint most title (5) under Dhoni's leadership.
In the exclusive conversation with Sports Today, Simarjeet said that he is not anyone to judge a player like Dhoni and he is the best you can learn from.
“I can tell one thing or one particular thing which is make him, I think he is MS Dhoni. He knows everything better than us because he is, I think, all the time great. So I can't, I'm not anyone to judge or I can, I only get little things from him you do like for your game or something so I think he's the best you can learn from” said Simrajeet Singh.
The young pacer who picked up nine wickets said that a player like Dhoni helps youngsters develop skills.
"I think both when you ask him skill-wise or on the mental wise when you ask him a question he can give you the pro, I think the best answer and as simple as it can so you can understand better and better more better" added Simarjeet.

Simarjeet is currently representing East Delhi Riders in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) picked up 15 wickets and caught the attention of cricketing enthusiasts with his clever use of back-of-the-length deliveries.
While asked about red-ball cricket, He reckoned that the longest format of the game is the best cricket where you can put your effort and you get the results.
“I think red ball cricket is the best cricket. You have to play or you have to challenge yourself to play and it is quite difficult for every, as a fast bowler, when you bowl in the heat or when you bowl on dead wickets, it is the best cricket where you can put your effort and you got the results or you can play the harsh cricket” said Simarjeet.
