Team India batter's father goes missing from Pune home, found by police after long search

Team India cricketer Kedar Jadhav's father Mahadev Jadhav went missing from their Pune home on Monday (March 27) morning and a case was registered after family members filed a complaint at Alankar Police Station.

Team India cricketer Kedar Jadhav's father Mahadev Jadhav went missing from their Pune home on Monday (March 27) morning and a case was registered after family members filed a complaint at Alankar Police Station. Kedar's father went missing from the Kothrood area of Pune around 11:30 am on Monday. As per the complaint, Kedar's father suffers from dementia - an impaired ability to remember or think.

"Mahadev Jadhav went missing after he left home for a morning walk. He left the gate of the housing complex and has not been seen since. A missing person case has been registered and efforts are on to trace him," PTI quoted an official as saying.

He was later found in the Mundhwa area after being seen last exiting the gate of the housing complex on Monday. 

"His condition is fine and he has been reunited with his family," Senior Inspector Ajit Lakde of Mundhwa police station told PTI on Monday night.  

Kedar Jadhav has played 73 ODIs for India and has been playing for the Maharashtra Ranji team since 2007.
