It was a red-letter day for Ferrari as their drivers finished 1 and 2 respectively. Charles Leclerc won the United States Grand Prix while his teammate Carlos Sainz secured the second spot. Ferrari finished historic 1-2 at Austin's Circuit of the Americas while Mclaren's biggest championship contender Lando Norris was penalised denting his title run.  Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen finished third. Norris was penalised as he had passed Verstappen in the final laps for leaving the track and gaining an advantage. He suffered a five-second penalty which was enough to play a spoilsport for the Singapore GP winner for a podium finish at US GP. The penalty was a talking point as Norris went from third to fourth place, allowing Verstappen to secure a podium finish and extend his championship lead to 57 points with just five races to go.

Charles Leclerc secured his third season victory at the U.S. Grand Prix, breaking Max Verstappen's three-year winning streak at this event. This win puts Ferrari just eight points behind Red Bull in the constructors' standings. Despite winning the sprint race on Saturday, Verstappen continued his drought in Sunday races, with his last win dating back to June in Spain.

At the start, Lando Norris quickly got off the line but was forced wide at the first corner, allowing Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to take first and third positions, respectively. Norris expressed his frustration over the team radio. The race saw an early safety car deployment when Lewis Hamilton spun off on lap two, leading to his early exit.

Esteban Ocon set the fastest lap but finished 18th, missing out on a bonus point. While Ferrari's performance was the highlight, McLaren maintained their lead in the constructors' standings, extending their advantage to 40 points.
