David Adelman on Aaron Gordon's status for Game 7
David Adelman said that Gordon's injury was a high concern, which he has been dealing with for most of the season. On Saturday, Adelman revealed that the team is optimistic that Gordon will suit up for Game 7 as his participation in the series finale will be a game time decision.
Gordon has been the second best player for the Nuggets in the 2025 playoffs as he is averaging 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists, shooting 48.5% including 38.2% from 3. He has made some key contributions in the clutch which further saved the Nuggets from ending their season early as they head into Game 7.
The franchise feel that Gordon might benefit from a two day rest between Game 6 and 7 and starts for Game 7 on Sunday. His absence would leave the team shorthand in the frontcourt which would hamper their two way balance.
