76ers Have Immensely Struggled Without Joel Embiid
This development could spell trouble for Philadelphia as they have struggled in the absence of Embiid. 76ers are 7-13 without Embiid. However, the Phoenix Suns' recent struggles may provide a timely reprieve. With a 15-18 record, the Suns sit 12th in the West and have gone 3-7 in their last 10 games, including a current four-game losing streak capped off by an 18-point loss to the Pacers. The Sixers couldn't ask for a more favourable opponent, and even without Embiid, they're well-positioned to take on the Suns. If Embiid doesn't play, All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey will likely take the reins. Averaging 25.2 points per game, Maxey's speed and shooting ability will pose a significant challenge for the struggling Suns.
Thus, with all to look forward to, it will be interesting to note how 76ers will tackle the challenge of facing Suns without the presence of Joel Embiid in the team. Notably, both teams require nothing less than a victory to stay afloat on the table.
