LeBron James' former teammate Patrick Beverley has been playing in Israel since 2024, as he last played for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. On Thursday, he announced that he will be making his return to the NBA after having a bomb time in the Israeli League. 

What did Patrick Beverley say about his NBA return?

While answering a fan's request on X (formerly known as Twitter), he said that he is looking at all possible opportunities to make a return to the NBA as soon as possible. He has been teammates with some of the biggest names in the NBA which includes the likes of LeBron James, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and Giannis Antetokounmpo. 

Looking at all options as we speak. we def going back to NBA next season.

Patrick Beverley was playing for the Tel Aviv in Israel in the past season. He helped them to win the Israeli League before parting ways with them in the month of February. Before heading to Israel, he was playing with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2023-24 season as he averaged 6.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. 

The Milwaukee Bucks was his seventh team in 12 season after being drafted No. 42 in the 2009 draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Patrick Beverley is known for his defensive abilities as he became a three-time All-Defensive team member during his career. But, he is also known for his controversial antics on the court as well.

If he returns to the NBA, he will have experience under his wings and could help mentor young players. 

Patrick Beverley on what he is doing to make an NBA return

Patrick Beverley is doing everything he can in his reach to make a comeback in the NBA. On his Pat Bev Pod podcast, he shared the details of the steps that he has taken to return to the NBA after playing in Israel. 

I hit a couple GM's, a couple coaches...I said listen, just invite me to training camp. I don't need no favors...just invite me to training camp, I'll do the rest, Beverley said in May.

Not just this, he even expressed that he misses the NBA. 

I'm making my entrance back to the NBA next year, I miss it.
