Multan will now host both the opening and second Test matches of the series, starting on October 7. The PCB confirmed that Karachi will not be available for any international matches due to construction work for the ICC Champions Trophy, which is scheduled for next year. Pakistan face tough task pressure ahead of England series

Pakistan enter the upcoming Test series against England under immense pressure following a disappointing 2-0 series loss to Bangladesh. This was their first defeat against Bangladesh in the red-ball format. Captain Shan Masood, who has lost his first five Tests as captain, faces uncertainty about his role ahead of the series. The English team, led by Ben Stokes, arrives in Pakistan with a strong record. They swept Pakistan 3-0 in their last tour and have won five out of six Tests in their recent home summer. The series promises to be a competitive contest, with England holding a clear advantage based on their recent form.
