Asia Cup: India and Pakistan set for clash of titans; Know the weather and pitch conditions here

SportsTak

India and Pakistan are set to kick off their season with a mighty clash of the titans in their opening Asia Cup fixtures in Dubai on Sunday, August 28. The two sides will be hoping to continue their good T20I form in what promises to be an enticing encounter between the neighbouring rivals.

Weather report
The match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup is set to take place at the Dubai International Stadium. Fans can expect clear skies in Dubai on Sunday, and it is unlikely that rain will play spoilsport during the subcontinental 'el clasico'. There is no chance of precipitation on Sunday as well.

The wind speed is expected to be around 17km/h on matchday while the temperature could hover around 40 degrees Celsius to 31 degrees Celsius. The humidity is forecasted to be around 35 percent.

Pitch Report
The pitch at the Dubai International Stadium seems like a spin-friendly one, but in recent games, it has assisted the pacers. During the last T20 World Cup match against Pakistan back in 2021, the Indian top-order was dismantled by Shaheen Afridi, who is on the sidelines alongside Mohammad Wasim jr. Both the pacers suffered injuries ahead of the Asia Cup. The teams batting second at this venue have emerged victorious in recent times.
