Less than a couple of hours ahead of India-Afghanistan Asia Cup 2022 clash, fire broke out near Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The fire broke out at a building outside the stadium. In a video, heavy smoke can be seen from inside the stadium.
The fire broke out before the teams’ arrival for their last clash of the tournament. So far, no casualties have been reported. The match is expected to go on as scheduled.
The winner of the India vs Afghanistan clash will not have an effect on the outcome of the tournament. Both the teams got knocked out of Asia Cup 2022 on September 17 after Afghanistan lost to Pakistan in a low-scoring thriller at Sharjah stadium.
