India's star batter Virat Kohli seems to have found his mojo back as looks in good touch in the ongoing Asia Cup. He scored a sedate 35 off 34 against Pakistan and belted 59 off 44 against Hong Kong to propel India to the Super Fours of Asia Cup 2022.

Meanwhile on Friday (September 2), Kohli posted a sun-kissed photo of his actor wife Anushka Sharma on Instagram and captioned the pic 'My 🌎❤️'. Anushka is preparing for Netflix film titled "Chakda Xpress", based on the life of India Women pace legend Jhulan Goswami.

The high-profile batter's post also grabbed former Australia captain David Warner's attention as he left a comment on the post which read, 'Lucky man mate'.

Soon after Warner's comment sundry of Kohli's fans started cornering Warner as his comment left some confused and some of them took it out of context.

Replying to one of the fans who questioned Warner, the Australia opener said: "We are very lucky to have supportive wives," while to another, he replied: "It's a saying we use in Australia, like I would say I'm lucky to have Candice Warner. So, when we say to others, we say "You're lucky, mate" or "You’re blessed, mate". Interpretation is always going to be different."

After Warner posted the clarification, many fans came to his support, but there were also those who continued to question him. The icing on the cake came when Kohli himself posted a comment that shut down all trolls. "I know, mate," he replied.

Meanwhile, after the instrumental knock against Hong Kong on Wednesday (August 31), Kohli had become the player with the highest average in the shortest format of the game. He accomplished this feat during his side's Group A tie against Hong Kong in Dubai during the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. Kohli had scored 59* off 44 balls, consisting of one four and three sixes. Now in 101 T20Is, Virat has scored 3,402 runs at an average of 50.77.

He has 31 half-centuries in the format, with his highest score being 94*. He has a strike rate of 137.12.

Before the match against Hong Kong, Kohli had scored 35 runs off 34 balls against Pakistan.

India will face either Pakistan or Hong Kong on September 4 in the Super Fours.Â
