Dashing middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav trounced the Australian bowling attack on September 25 (Sunday). The stylish batter played a stunning knock of 69 runs in 36 balls and rolled out India's path to a six-wicket win. Suryakumar Yadav played some outrageous shots during his innings. He whacked five fours and as many sixes on Sunday. The Mumbai Indians batter has been in prolific form in T20Is in 2022. He has scored 682 runs in 20 matches in the shortest format of the game this year, which is the most by any batter.

Reflecting on Suryakumar's sensational display with the bat, former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria was quick to say that the Indian batter will leave stalwarts like Virat Kohli and Babar Azam behind.

"I have been saying this for a while now, Suryakumar Yadav is one of the best batters. With his 360-degree repertoire, I'd say that the sky is high. The way he bats, it's like he is announcing himself. He was outstanding in the third T20I. He has a different way of playing and he is surely going to be a very big player. The way he bats, he will make people forget all the other batting greats. Yes, Kohli will score a lot of runs and Babar will be very successful, but Yadav will leave everyone behind," Kaneria said on his YouTube channel.

Former India captain Virat Kohli anchored India's chase to perfection in the Men in Blue's six-wicket win over Australia in the 3rd T20I on September 25 (Sunday). The maverick batter scored a stylish half-century (63 runs off 48 balls) and helped India clinch the three-match series 2-1 against the Baggy Greens. Since the time Kohli returned from a break, the right-handed batter has been in ominous form, scoring his maiden T20I century in the process.

Kaneria also lauded Kohli, who stitched a crucial partnership with Suryakumar after India lost both opener cheaply while chasing a steep target.

"A lot of people have been saying that Virat Kohli is Adam Zampa's bunny. But Kohli took him to the cleaners this time. He was exceptional. While Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were dismissed early, Kohli and Yadav steadied the ship, making the most of the opportunity. Kohli guided Yadav well, and there was a clear understanding between them. The Australian bowlers had no answers against these two batters. If they continue to bat this way, India will surely overpower every team in the T20 World Cup," Kaneria said.
