The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India's squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia on Sunday (February 19). Skipper Rohit Sharma will miss the ODI opener against Australia while Jaydev Unadkat has been included in India's 18-member strong for the all-important series which will be played post the conclusion of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series between the two cricket giants.

The first ODI match between India and Australia will be played on March 17 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

While Unadkat returned to India fold after 10 years as he last played an ODI for India back in November, 2013 against West Indies. Another big name who made a comeback after a string of injuries, is star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. However, India's pace spearhead continues to sit on the sideline owing to persistent injuries. KL Rahul has also been an inclusion in the India's squad as he had missed the entire white-ball fixture against New Zealand last month owing to his personal commitments.

Meanwhile, in absence of Rohit, who will miss the first ODI due to family commitments, Hardik Pandya will be seen leading the Indian pack. The ODI series will kick off in Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium on March 17 while the second and the third tie will be played on March 19 (Vijzag) and March 22 (Chennai) respectively. India will look to continue their dominance in ODIs after clinching back-to-back series triumph against Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
