Watch: ‘laga laga Virat ko laga’ — Rohit Sharma bathes Kohli with colours while playing fun-filled Holi with Team India

Right ahead of the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad, Team India celebrated the festival of colours Holi in their own crazy way. After Shubman Gill posted a clip of Men in Blue's indulging in the Holi celebration in the team bus on Tuesday (March 7), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) came up with another video where members of Team India, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, can be seen in the festive spirits.

Leading the Indian pack both on and off ground, skipper Rohit was heard insisting someone to pour colour on Kohli inside the team bus.

“Laga laga, Virat ko laga laga [Apply colour on Virat’s face],” Sharma can be heard in a 105-second video.

While Kohli had managed to prevent himself from getting coloured by his teammates until this point in time. However, the situation changed briskly after Sharma first applied colours on his predecessor.

Also India star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja coloured Kohli. “Ab ho hi gaya hai [Now you have been coloured],” Jadeja can be heard in the video. However, Jadeja got the taste of his own medicine as skipper Rohit bathed the all-rounder in colours despite resisting.

Meanwhil3, Rohit Sharma's brigade and Australia are gearing up for the fourth Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series which will be played from March 9 to March 13 in Ahmedabad. Team India had a splendid start to the four-match series as they registered emphatic victories in the first two Tests played in Nagpur and Delhi. However, they were brought to their knees by the visitors as Rohit Sharma & Co. suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Steve Smith-led Australia in the third Test to leave the series' equation at 2-1. It is also imperative that India win the fourth Test in Ahmedabad in order to make it to the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-2023 final which will be held at the Oval from June 7. On the other hand, Australia have already qualified for the WTC final after their nine-wicket victory in Indore Test.
