After Yashaswi Jaiswal and KL Rahul propelled India past 140, India lost two more wickets, leaving them at a precarious 144/6.
However, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja launched a counter-attack against the Bangladesh bowlers. Ashwin played a particularly aggressive innings, smashing a 58-ball half-century.
The duo's dominance was evident in the final session as Bangladesh struggled to contain their onslaught. Ashwin continued to be the aggressor, completing his century in just 105 balls, capping off a remarkable day for India.
