Champions Trophy 2025 matches will be played in Pakistan's Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore and Dubai.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to start from February 19 and the tournament will be played in a hybrid model. The matches of the mega event will be played in Dubai and Pakistan's Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi. Matches featuring India and one of the semifinals will take place in Dubai and the rest of the matches will take place in Pakistan. The final of the mega event will take place on March 9 and the venue for the summit clash also depends upon India's performance in the marquee event. If India manages to qualify for the title decider it will also take place in Dubai otherwise the final will take place in Pakistan. 

Pakistan venues for Champions Trophy 2025

National Stadium, Karachi: Karachi's National Stadium will host three league matches. The tournament's opener clash between Pakistan and New Zealand will also be played in Karachi. After this Afghanistan vs South Africa match will also take place in Karachi. Karachi's third match will be played between South Africa and England on March 1. 

History: The National Stadium in Karachi was established in 1955 and it is one of the crucial venues in Pakistan’s cricket history. The venue's first Test match was played in April 1955 between Pakistan and India.

Rawalpindi Stadium, Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will also host three league matches of the mega event. The first match in Rawalpindi will be played between Bangladesh and New Zealand on February 24. The venue will also host the Australia v South Africa league match on the next day. Rawalpindi's third match will be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh on February 27.

History: Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was established in 1992 with a vision of Pakistan's plan to co-host 1996 World Cup. It was Pakistan's 4th ground for international cricket. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium hosted its first test match in 1993 between Pakistan and Zimbabwe. The venue hosted the first ODI in 1992 between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Legendary speedster Shoaib Akhtar used to play his domestic matches at this very stadium.

Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore: Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium will host three league matches and one semifinal. The final of the mega event will also take place in Lahore unless India qualifies. The venue's first Champions Trophy match will be played between Ashes rivals, Australia vs England their second match be played between Afghanistan and England and the third match of the venue will be played between Afghanistan and Australia. 

History: Gaddafi Stadium was named after the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi it was completely renovated during 1995-96 ready for the 1996 World Cup. This was the first stadium in Pakistan to have modern floodlights which have their own standby power generators. Modern facilities for the media are also provided. The venue hosted a historic 1996 World Cup final between Australia and Sri Lanka. 

Dubai venue for Champions Trophy

Dubai International Stadium, Dubai: The venue will host India's three league matches including the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan. The venue's first Champions Trophy 2025 match will be played between India and Bangladesh on February 20. The second match in Dubai will be played between India and Pakistan on February 23 February. Before the semifinal, India vs New Zealand will also take place at the same venue on March 2. The venue will also host the final if India manages to qualify. 

History: Dubai International Stadium hosted its first match on April 22, 2009, between Pakistan and Australia and the Men in Green won that match. Shahid Afridi is the first-ever player to take a five-wicket haul with 6/38, which was his career-best figure at the time. The first Test match at the venue was played between Pakistan and South Africa which ended in a draw.
