The Commonwealth Games (CWG) will see the introduction of women's cricket for the first time as eight teams have been drawn into two groups of four teams each. Two heavyweights Australia and India will be pitted in Group A, alongside the Barbados Women and Pakistan Women.
Meanwhile, Group B will have England Women, New Zealand Women, South Africa Women and Sri Lanka Women.
Two matches are set to take place on each day of the competition, while no matches will take place on August 1. The semis will take place on August 6, and the two medal games are scheduled for August 7.
The event will commence on Friday, July 29, between Australia Women and India Women at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.
