Watch: Mohammed Siraj wins India vs Pakistan battle in County Championship

In the ongoing County Championship match between Warwickshire and Somerset, Team India's ace Test paceman Mohammed Siraj emerged victorious in a rare India-Pakistan battle by dismissing Imam-ul-Haq. The incident occurred on the second ball of the 10th over when Siraj bowled a beautiful out=swinging delivery and forced Imam-ul-Haq to nick the ball to Michael Burgess behind the stumps.

Siraj took the new ball along with Oliver Hannon-Dalby on the first day of the match and handed Warwickshire the best possible start by striking inside the first 10 overs. Imam-ul-Haq, meanwhile, could only manage a score of five runs off 20 balls before Siraj sent him back to the pavilion.

Warwickshire, who have endured a horrendous County Championship campaign this season, signed the Indian pacer last month. The club has won just one of their 11 matches so far and is languishing at the ninth spot on the points table.

"I can't wait to join up with the Bears squad," Siraj said after being roped in by Warwickshire.

"I have always enjoyed playing in England with India and I'm excited to experience County Cricket. Edgbaston is (a) world-class stadium and the atmosphere it created this year for the Test was special. I'm really looking forward to making it my home in September and hopefully helping the Bears end the season well.

"I would like to extend my gratitude to both Warwickshire County Cricket Club and BCCI for this opportunity," he added.
