Jasprit Bumrah responded on being compared to James Anderson after India's victory in 2nd Test.

India beat England by 106 runs in the second Test.

Jasprit Bumrah guided India to a stunning 106-run victory against England in the second Test in Visakhapatnam on February 5, Monday. Jasprit Bumrah took a brilliant fifer in the first innings and followed it up with a another three wickets in the second to thwart England from chasing 399-run target.

Right after the match, in the post match presentation, Bumrah was asked about whether he is some competition with England's pace legend James Anderson, to which he replied, “No not really (competition with Jimmy?). I never really enjoyed watching anyone or anything else. Before a cricketer, I'm a fast bowling fan. If somebody's doing well, kudos to them. I look at the situation, at the wicket and think what are my options. I should not be a one-trick pony.”

Bumrah was also adjudged Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling throughout the second Test match against England. In the first innings, he also became the fastest Indian pacer to take 150 Test wickets.

“I don't look at numbers. As a youngster I did that and it made me excited. But now it's an added baggage. As a youngster that is the first delivery I learned (yorker). Had seen the legends of the game. Waqar, Wasim and even Zaheer Khan. We're going through a transition so I feel it's my responsibility to help them in any way I can. We discuss certain things. Have been playing with him for a long period of time (Rohit),” Bumrah concluded.

With this win India avenged the first Test defeat in Hyderabad and have levelled the five-match series 1-1Indian and England will next lock horns with each other in their third Test in Rajkot from February 15.
