Rahul was named in India's squad for the remaining 3 Tests against England.

On a pleasant Sunday morning, February 11, KL Rahul, India's premier batter, was back in action, honing his skills in the net sessions under the bright sunshine. Through a video shared on his Instagram story, Rahul was seen executing a perfect drive, showcasing his readiness to return to the pitch. His performance in the nets has sparked optimism among fans and teammates about his potential comeback for the final three Tests against England, especially with the team feeling the absence of key players like Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently unveiled the squad for the concluding Tests of the series, with the inclusion of Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja contingent on their recovery and fitness levels.

Rahul's diligent practice session comes at a crucial time as India seeks to bolster its batting lineup with experienced players.

KL Rahul missed 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam

Rahul had earlier reported discomfort in his right quadriceps following the opening Test against England in Hyderabad, leading to his and Jadeja's exclusion from the second Test in Vizag. Despite this setback, Rahul's contribution of an 86-run innings in the first Test was pivotal, helping India to establish a significant lead, although the team ultimately faced a 28-run defeat.

The potential return of KL Rahul to the squad is eagerly anticipated, given the critical role he plays within the team's batting hierarchy. With Kohli stepping away from the series for personal reasons after missing the first two Tests, and Shreyas Iyer absent from the lineup for the remaining matches, Rahul's experience and skill are more valuable than ever. He is expected to fill the crucial No. 4 spot in the batting order, a position that Iyer occupied in the second Test without significant success.

Rajat Patidar, who made his Test debut in the second match, has secured his place in the squad for the upcoming games and is likely to bat at No. 5. As India prepares for the remainder of the series against England, all eyes will be on Rahul's fitness and ability to reinforce the team's middle order in these pivotal matches.
