India's veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja achieved the elusive 600-wicket mark in international cricket during the opening ODI of the three-match series against England in Nagpur, on February 6 (Thursday). Only four Indian bowlers have taken 600 wickets across all three formats. Jadeja has also become the fifth-highest wicket-taker for India in International cricket. He is the first left-arm Indian bowler to reach 600 international wickets. He has joined the elite list with likes of Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, and Kapil Dev. When Jadeja dismissed Adil Rashid in the 47th over of the first innings, he reached his milestone wicket.

Jadeja surpasses James Anderson
On the way to his three wickets, Jadeja also broke the mark held by veteran England pacer James Anderson. In India vs England ODIs, Jadeja has emerged as the top wicket-taker. Jadeja needed three wickets to surpass Anderson, who had taken 40 in ODI matches against the Men in Blue.
