Star Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan faced the ire of fans for his egregious gesture towards the national flag of the country. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Rizwan can be seen picking up the Pakistan national flag with his feet. Rizwan, who is the No.1 ranked T20I batter in the world, is in superb form with the bat in the shortest format of the game since 2021. As a result, he has become extremely popular among fans.
In the video, the right-handed batter was signing autographs for his fans o t-shirts, caps and even the national flag. It is towards the end of the clip, Rizwan was spotted lifting the Pakistan national flag with his feet.
