ICC Men's World Cup 2023 schedule is set to undergo major changes. As many as six matches are set to be rescheduled for the mega event later this year. Sports Tak has learned that the high voltage encounter between India and Pakistan is set to be preponed. Now, the clash between arch-rivals will be played on October 14 at the same venue.
There is another change in Pakistan's schedule. They will face Sri Lanka on October 10 now instead of October 12. World Cup runner-ups New Zealand's match against Netherlands has been postponed. Instead of October 9, the Kiwis will face the Dutch on October 12.
There is a slight change in England's clash against Afghanistan. The day/night clash is all set to start in the morning. Another match of New Zealand has been postponed. Now, they will face Bangladesh on October 15 instead of October 14. In addition, one of the double headers clashes can be shifted to October 9.
International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to announce the change in schedule in the next few days after all teams agree to the changes made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
