Rahul's spouse, Athiya, couldn't contain her pride and admiration. She initially posted a photo of Virat and Rahul, draped in the Indian flag. Subsequently, she uploaded a clip of Rahul's match-winning six, captioning it "Best guy ever" accompanied by a heart emoji, epitomising her pride and the nation's admiration for Rahul.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar weighed in, expressing his astonishment at Australia's decision to bat first post winning the toss. He lauded the Indian bowlers for limiting Australia to 199 and felt the Aussies lacked a left-arm spinner for the pitch. He further highlighted the decisive partnership between Virat and Rahul, noting their strategic gameplay and the improved ball movement in the latter half of the match. He concluded by congratulating Team India on their commendable start.

 

 

Earlier in 2023, KL Rahul and Athiya, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty's daughter, exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony.
