Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of India's cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, was in attendance during the India vs Bangladesh match at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Thursday, October 19. The spotlight shifted to her when Shubman Gill took the catch to send Towhid Hridoy back to the pavilion.

In the match's 38th over, delivered by Shardul Thakur, Towhid Hridoy aimed for a pull shot. However, the ball grazed the top edge of his bat, allowing fielder Shubman Gill to effortlessly secure the catch. Sara's jubilant reaction was caught on camera, rapidly gaining traction online. Post the catch, Hridoy departed with a contribution of 16 runs from 35 balls.

As the match unfolded, Team India faced a hiccup during their innings against Bangladesh. In the 9th over, Hardik Pandya had to exit the field due to an injury, leading Virat Kohli to step in and bowl the remaining balls of Pandya's over.

Pandya did not return to the field till the 40th over of Bangladesh’s innings. The all-rounder is a vital cog in India’s middle order and he may have to bat down the order despite wickets falling early in the run chase.
If Pandya does not take the field for the entire innings, he will be eligible to bat only after 20 overs are bowled or India lose five wickets in the run chase. Pandya usually comes to bat at no.6 until and unless a left-arm spinner is operating. If Pandya’s services with the bat are needed he may walk out to bat at no.

Despite this setback, the Indian bowlers showcased their mettle, confining Bangladesh to 256 runs in their 50 overs, with a loss of 8 wickets. Liton Das emerged as the top scorer for Bangladesh with 66 runs, while for India, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja each clinched two wickets.
