Rain has halted the ongoing World Cup clash between Pakistan and New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. New Zealand batting first posted a colossal total of 401/6 riding on Rachin Ravindra's brilliant century and Kane Williamson's robust 95. In reply, Pakistan are solid at 160/1 with Fakhar Zaman (106) and Babar Zaman (47) intact on the crease after 21.3 overs.

Fakhar also went past Imran Nazir’s record of most sixes in a World Cup innings by a Pakistan player. Nazir had struck eight sixes during his 121-ball 160 against Zimbabwe.
Babar turned the second fiddle with an unbeaten 47 off 51 and stitched an instrumental 154-run partnership with Zaman.
In a full fledged match, Pakistan will have the chase down the mammoth target in 35.2 overs to pip the New Zealand on NRR and stay afloat in the semis race.
Earlier, New Zealand rode on Kane Williamson's brilliant 95 and Rachin Ravindra's third century of the ongoing ODI World Cup to post a towering total of 401/6. This is only the second time that the 400-run mark has been breached in the ongoing showpiece.
