United States captain Monank Patel warned his former teammate Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 clash against India. He said that he will not go easy on India's speedster in the upcoming clash of the marquee event at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Both India and USA have not lost a single game in the ongoing T20 World Cup so far and the winner of this clash will seal their berth in the Super Eight. During an exclusive conversation with SPORTS TAK, USA skipper Monank revealed that he played with Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel during his early cricket team.

“I will tell Jasprit Bumrah, there will be a good competition. I won't give him confidence before the clash. I will look to smash Jasprit Bumrah” said Monank.
Monank has scored 66 runs in his two outings of the ongoing World Cup. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah is also in lethal form he picked five wickets in his two outings. He was the game-changer for India in the recent clash against Pakistan.
Monank Patel on Virat Kohli
While asked about India batting maestro Virat Kohli, the USA skipper reckoned that Kohli doesn't need runs. He is a great player he knows how to make a comeback. Kohli is yet to perform in the tournament he just scored 1 and 4 runs in his two outings.
