First AIC24WC now UK1845: Vistara Airways special gift for Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, dedicates flight name as per their jersey numbers

BCCI arranged a special charter flight 'AIC24WC', which stands for AirIndia Champions24WorldCup that rescued the Indian cricket team from Barbados after they were stuck in the Hurrican Beryl that forced all airports to shut down. However, the Indian cricket team made sure all their players and media personnel returned home safely and they did as they landed in New Delhi on July 4, 6:05 AM exactly after a 16-hour-long journey. Now after Air India, Vistara Airways has also dedicated their flight name to the Indian team.

 

Flight UK1845 to take Team India from Delhi to Mumbai

 

Vistara flight which took Team India to Mumbai from New Delhi was named UK1845. 18 and 45 are the jersey numbers of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma respectively. Both cricketers will be the star attraction during the open bus parade in Mumbai.

Team India leave for Mumbai after meeting PM Modi

 

The Men in Blue side arrived in New Delhi and after resting for a while at their hotel in ITC Maurya, they headed towards the PMO house to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now after their meeting with PM, they have once again departed to take the flight that will be taking them straight to Mumbai for the much-awaited victory parade. The Indian team will be doing a kilometer-long open bus victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium with the T20 World Cup trophy. It will be followed by a celebration and felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium.

 

MCA announces free entry in Wankhede

 

The Mumbai Cricket Association has announced free entry for fans to witness the victory parade and celebration ceremony in Wankhede. The Indian team will be doing a kilometer-long open-bus parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium with the prestigious T20 World Cup 2024 trophy to greet the fans and celebrate their big win. The gates will open at 4:00 PM and the entry inside the stadium will be made from Gate no. 2,3, and 4.
