The Indian cricket team is getting ready for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which is set to be played in the United States and West Indies. Ahead of their first warm-up game against Bangladesh, India's vice-captain Hardik Pandya has joined the Men in Blue in the USA and also took part in their first practice session.
Hardik joins Team India
Hardik Pandya posted pictures of him taking part in the Indian practice session from his official Instagram handle and captioned it ‘on national duty’. The post is going viral all across the social space within minutes of posting.
Earlier, the star cricketer was spotted training in London a week ahead of the Rohit Sharma-led side’s T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up game against Bangladesh in the USA. He was practicing at Slough Warriors Cricket Club on May 23. This will be Hardik Pandya's first assignment at the International level after suffering an ankle injury that ruled him out of the ODI World Cup 2023.

Still no sign of Virat Kohli
Currently, Virat Kohli is the only squad member to have not left for the USA. Reportedly, Virat Kohli has been enjoying a mini-break before joining the team. Virat Kohli was also spotted having dinner with Zaheer Khan in Mumbai. Sports Tak has learned from its sources that Virat Kohli will be leaving for the USA on the morning of May 30. However, he is most likely to miss India's warm-up fixture against Bangladesh on June 1.
