Star Indian batter Virat Kohli once again could not generate a big knock from his bat in this ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024. However, he was looking in great touch during the clash against Bangladesh in the Super 8 stage being played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, on June 22 (Saturday). However, his innings was cut short by rising pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib who clean-bowled the Indian batting maestro and then gave him a fiery send-off.
Sakib gives death stare to Kohli
Virat Kohli scored 37 runs off 28 balls before getting out. He smashed one four and three magnificent sixes. He was dismissed by young Tanzim Hasan Sakib who gave Kohli a death stare and fiery celebration. The video of which is now going viral all across the internet.

After Virat's dismissal, Suryakumar Yadav came to the middle and smashed a six on the very first ball against Sakib but his celebration was also cut short as Sakib stuck again and dismissed him on the very next ball. Tanxim got the wicket of Virat and Surya in the very same over.
Hardik's fifty helps India post 196/5
196/5 is India's third-highest total in the T20 World Cup history and this was possible because of an astonishing fifty from Hardik Pandya. Rishabh Pant and Shivam Dube also played good cameo knock and contributed in India's big total against their Asian rivals. Hardik scored an unbeaten 50 off just 27 balls and was the star performer from the Indian line-up.
“Wicket looked alright, the par would have been 180, but we got 197 I think that is like a good score here. Hopefully with our bowling line-up, with a little bit of consistency, we will be able to do well. He (Dube) had to take his time because his role was to take on the spinners, I think when the time came we both were allowed to free our hands and that was very important to us. It tends to get slower at the end, discipline and good bowling will be crucial,” said Hardik Pandya in the mid-innings break.
