Indian opener Shubman Gill is making headlines after several reports claimed that he is coming back to India after of T20 World Cup 2024 tie against Canada which will take place at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida. Soon after this news, several fans started reporting that he is coming back because of the disciplinary action against him.
However, there is a report for TOI claiming that all these speculations and reports are fake and the India young batter is coming due to enough Indian players being there (including reserves).
"Reports of Shubman Gill being sent home from US on disciplinary grounds are grossly incorrect, he and Avesh Khan are returning purely due to enough India players being there (including reserves)" said TOI.
Team India have qualified for the Super 8 of the ongoing T20 World Cup where they will face Afghanistan on June 20 at Kensington Oval in in Bridgetown, Barbados.
