Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team is all set to go one-on-one against Monank Patel's United States in match 25 of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, on June 12 (Wednesday). This is a crucial game for both teams as winning this will ensure their qualification to the Super 8 stage. Everyone has their eyes on the Men in Blue's clash against co-host USA but is also worried that the rain might play spoilsport.
Pakistan cricket team will also be having their eye on this clash as they would be hoping that India beat the USA by a big margin and affect their run rate. So their chances to reach the next stage get a major boost and they stay alive in the race to reach the next round.
New York weather forecast
There is a chance of rain as per the New York weather forecast. It might also play spoilsport in the match proceedings, the precipitation chances go up to 25 percent which can be a little bothering for the fans. However, it can also be just passing showers and the match might proceed with a few interruptions. Earlier, the Scotland vs England and Sri Lanka vs Nepal games were abandoned due to rain as well. Hopefully, this won't be the sight during Team India's game. If rain causes a potential washout both teams will have to share a point.
