International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the warm-up fixtures of 16 teams which will be competing in Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia in October.
India will play against defending champions Australia in their first warm-up game at the Gabba on October 17. Two days later, at the same venue, India will take on the finalists – New Zealand -- of T20 World Cup 2021.
All the teams that have qualified for the Super 12 round directly are schedule to play their warm-up games on October 17 and 19 in Brisbane.

India will start their T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 23 in a bid to avenge their Asia Cup 2022 loss.
Their second match is against one of the qualifiers on October 27. Their next three matches will be against South Africa, Bangladesh, and another qualifying team on October 30, November 2 and November 6 respectively. The semi-finals will be played on November 9 and 10 whereas the final will be hosted in Melbourne on November 13.
India are yet to announce their T20 World Cup squad. Currently, a few of the star players are out of the ongoing Asia Cup squad due to injury.
Before the T20 World Cup 2022, India will face Australia at home in a three-T20I series later this month. It will be followed by another three-T20I series against South Africa in home conditions. The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 begins on October 16 when Sri Lanka faces Namibia at Kardinia Park Stadium in Geelong.
