Ahead of India's major clash against Bangladesh in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 in Adelaide on Wednesday, November 2, out-of-form opener KL Rahul was seen sweating it out in the nets in Adelaide. The batter looked focused and determined in his batting and stance while working on throwdowns with batting coach Vikram Rathour.
Rains forced Team India to take their practice sessions indoors, but this did not stop the players from training at their full potential ahead of their all-important match. The likes of Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Yuzvendra Chahal were among the players working on their respective routines, but Rahul's batting caught the particular interest of India's former skipper. It looked like a collective effort as the big guns in the team were helping out an out-of-form batter.
Kohli kept a very close eye on KL Rahul's batting, and at the same time, was seen in conversation with head coach Rahul Dravid. At one point, Kohli also walked to the middle of the pitch to hand a few tips to Rahul as the vice-captain went through the paces in a rigorous manner.

Since the beginning of the T20 World Cup, KL Rahul's place in the team has come under scrutiny with the star batter struggling to put score big, or consistently in the ongoing tournament. He has managed just a measly 22 runs in the three matches that India have played, and in the last game against South Africa in Perth, he was undone by Lungi Ngidi's pace.
However, head coach Rahul Dravid remains unbothered by the lack of runs from Rahul's bat and has exuded confidence in the right-handed batter's potential.
"I think he is a fantastic player, he has a proven track record. I think he has been batting superbly. These things can happen in T20Is, it has not been that easy for top-order batters. This tournament has been challenging, I think he was brilliant in the practice games against the likes of Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc. He got 60 or 70. I am hoping that it all clicks together in the next few games," Dravid said in the press conference on November 1 before India's game against Bangladesh on November 2.
"We know his quality and ability, he is very well suited for these conditions. He has got a good all-round game and he has a very good backfoot game which is required in these conditions. We are happy with the way he has been hitting it," he added.
