India will maintain the winning records against Pakistan: Gambhir exudes confidence ahead of the Ind-Pak clash

The mother of all the battles is ready to be played at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday after a gap of almost two years when Virat Kohli’s boys will take on Babar Azam and the company. 

 

Ahead of the big game, 2011 World Cup winning member Gautam Gambhir in an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak was optimistic about India maintaining their winning records against Pakistan. 

“Now that the match is tomorrow, I wish the Indian team all best. Like we have defeated Pakistan 5 times in the World Cup tournaments, I am confident they will repeat the track,” said the 2011 World Cup winning member. 

 

The former opener also touted India as the potential future winner of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and recreating the 2007 World Cup magic in Dubai. 

“This Indian team has potential of winning the World Cup,” added Gambhir 

 

The voices of canceling the much-awaited India versus Pakistan have been raised after the recent attacks in the volatile state of Jammu and Kashmir and Gambhir expressed his views and whether India should go ahead and engage in sporting activities with the team from across the border.
