Gautam Gambhir


India's legendary opener Gautam Gambhir made his T20 debut in a World Cup match against Scotland. He won 2 World Cups for Team India, and scored 932 runs in 37 T20 International matches in his career at a strike rate of 119.

 

RP Singh

Speedster RP Singh also made his T20 debut in the 2007 World Cup against Scotland. RP Singh got 15 scalps at an economy of 6.81 in his 10 T20I appearances for India.

 

Robin Uthappa

India star batter Robin Uthappa also comes in the tally the classical batter made his T20I debut in the 2007 World Cup. He represented India in 13 T20Is and scored 249 runs at a strike rate of 118.

 

Yuvraj Singh

 

Yuvraj Singh is arguably one of the best all-rounders India have produced. He also started his T20I career with T20 World Cup 2007. He played 58 T20Is and scored 1177 runs with a strike rate of 136 and has taken 28 wickets.

Joginder Sharma

 

2007 T20 World Cup hero Joginder Sharma started his T20I career with the same edition of the tournament. He played only 4 T20 matches for India and took 4 wickets in them.

 

Rohit Sharma

 

Current Indian captain Rohit Sharma also made his T20 debut in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Rohit has scored 3974 runs for India in 151 T20 matches at a strike rate of 139 and has also scored 5 centuries.

Pragyan Ojha played T20 cricket for India for the first time in the 2009 T20 World Cup played in England. In his T20 International career, he played 6 matches in which he has 10 wickets with an economy of 6.28.
