In a recent press conference in Hyderabad, Shadab Khan acknowledged the weight of expectations that comes with representing Pakistan in a World Cup. He stated, “The expectations of Pakistani fans are always high from the players who wear Pakistani jersey. WorldCup is an opportunity to become a superstar and hero globally. We received a warm welcome by Indian fans on the airport and outside the hotel. We felt very happy with the reception in India."
He further added, “The food in Hyderabad is very delicious. We are afraid of gaining weight by the end of WorldCup. We are enjoying relaxing and having a good time in India. We look forward to similar warm hospitality by Indian fans when we play against India in Ahmedabad.”'
